We're a small specialty publisher and it can sometimes be
difficult to find our books in stores and on the web. With the information
on this page it should be easier.

Buying From Bookstores
You will probably only find our books in travel
bookstores and a few of the larger Borders and Barnes and Noble stores. Even
the bookstores that carry our books are often temporarily out of stock since
they order only a copy or two and demand for these books is somewhat
seasonal. If the store doesn't have the book in stock they can order it
using the ISBN number from the section above.
Here is a good travel bookstore that normally
has our books in stock:
Wide World Books and Maps, 4411A Wallingford Ave.
N, Seattle, WA 98103; 206 634-3453; www.travelbooksandmaps.com
Buying on the Internet
It is extremely easy to find our books on the
internet. However, make sure you are getting the most recent edition. Do
this by searching the internet site using the ISBN listed above.
One of most popular internet sites for buying
books is Amazon.com. You can find links to our books on their site from these pages: Alaska, Mexico, Europe, Baja, Pacific Northwest, Southwest. There are also links to the Amazon site
from each book description page on this site as follows: Traveler's Guide to European Camping, Traveler's Guide to Alaskan Camping, Traveler's Guide to Mexican Camping, Traveler's Guide to Camping Mexico's Baja, Pacific Northwest Camping Destinations,
Southwest Camping Destinations,
and RV and Car Camping Vacations in
Europe.
Normal bookstores often have websites where they
sell books. You'll find a links to one of them in the Buying From
Bookstores section above.

Buying in Canada
We receive many reports that it is difficult to find our
books in Canada. Bookstores often only stock a copy or two, and when travel
season arrives they quickly disappear.
It is possible for Canadians to purchase directly from us.
We ship books to Canada by air mail and accept payment using MasterCard,
Visa, or checks denominated in U.S. dollars. We charge no more for shipments
to Canada than we do for shipments to the U.S. Unfortunately there are
problems. The Canadian government levies G.S.T. taxes on the books which
they will collect when they deliver the books. In addition they collect a
fee of approximately $5 for each shipment for collecting the G.S.T.
There are two good sources in Canada that will accept phone
or mail orders and mail books directly to Canadian customers. Taxes are paid
when you buy the books so you do not get charged the $5 fee by the post
office. In addition, since the September 11, 2001 World Trade Center attack
mail from the U.S. to Canada has been very slow so ordering from them is
quicker than ordering from us.
Fraserway R.V. Centre Ltd. - Books are stocked in
their parts department and they accept telephone and mail orders. They stock

Or contact by mail at:

Communications Camping Caravaning Inc. - If you live
in eastern Canada or speak French better than English you might want to
contact these folks. They stock all of our books and accept phone orders.
They're in Montreal and can be contacted by phone at (514) 252-3003.
Buying in Mexico
Several Mexican bookstores normally carry our
Mexico book and sometimes our Baja book. Since the Mexico book is new (Sept 2009) it is likely that the bookstores will not have it in stock during the 2009-2010 season and will have to order it for you. Likely Mexican bookstores are:
