Route: Santa Ana to Hermosillo
Date: November 29, 2008
Logged By: Mike and Terri Church
Vehicle: Pickup with Camper towing a Jeep Wrangler (40 Ft. Total Length)

Today’s route continues south on Mex 15 beginning with its intersection with Mex 2 in Santa Ana and ending at the intersection of Mex 15 and Mex 14 some 5 miles (8 km) north of Hermosillo. The route bypasses the sections's only toll booth by driving the free road through Pesqueira and rejoining Mex 15 just north of Hermosillo.

The surface of Mex 15 along today’s route is excellent. See the bypass route section below for the condition of the road through Pesqueira.
