000.0 Miles (000.0 Km) – At the intersection near the Km 33 marker just outside San Blas. This is Mile 125.0 of yesterday’s log. We are driving south toward Santa Cruz, the road is two lanes and paved but not overly wide.

001.4 Miles (002.3 Km) -- Entering the town of Matanchén, the dock for jungle boat rides is on the left.

001.6 Miles (002.6 Km) -- The road bends sharply left.

004.3 Miles (006.9 Km) -- Km marker 7.

007.5 Miles (012.1 Km) -- Entering the town of Aticama. Seafood restaurants along the water.

-- Stoplight, the first one we come to in Puerto Vallarta. We will not mark the rest of them, there are many. Pemex #3228 on the left with Magna, Premium, and diesel. Good access from the south. Entry road to Plaza Marina mall on the right. It has a Commercial Mexicana supermarket and a McDonalds.

-- Intersection. Left is Pitillal. There is a Sam’s Club on the left. We continue straight.

-- Road splits. The bypass around central Puerto Vallarta goes left here. Puerto Vallarta is congested, southbound traffic should follow the bypass.
