Note: This route takes us from Álamos south to Los Mochis. Readers driving directly from Guaymas to Los Mochis without the side trip to Álamos should jump from 127.5 Miles on the previous log to 032.0 Miles in this log.

000.0 Miles (000.0 Km) – Km 51 just outside Álamos heading west toward Navojoa.

004.2 Miles (006.8 Km) -- Entering village of Minas Nuevas.

014.1 Miles (022.7 Km)
-- Cutoff right for Presa Mocuzaria and agricultural inspection stop. When we passed we were relieved only of the citris fruits we were carrying but at other times this station may not allow the passage of other fruits and vegetables and perhaps pork and poultry. It depends upon the pest and disease problems that agriculture in the area may be having.

-- Intersection with a stoplight. There is a VH supermarket on the right. Turn left at this intersection for Los Mochis.
