Note about Puerto Vallarta Tickets: Police in Puerto Vallarta strictly
enforce a rule that says that all large vehicles, those over three meters high
or with duals, must travel in the lateral lanes on the northern approaches to
Puerto Vallarta. This enforcement starts at the airport and includes the
overpass that you pass over as you bypass the airport. Although travel in the
laterals makes no sense and is in fact dangerous, this rule is being enforced at
this time and is putting a lot of money into police coffers. The situation is so
bad that some folks wintering in the area are removing the outside rear dual
tires on their pickups so that they can travel around Puerto Vallarta without
being harassed.
039.8 Miles (064.2 Km) -- Pemex #3228 on the left with magna, premium and
diesel. Commercial Mexicana on the right.
041.2 Miles (066.5 Km) -- Wal-Mart on the left.
