From: Puebla to Oaxaca via Mex 135D

Note: Using Mex 190D, a high-speed two-lane toll road, it is easy to drive from Puebla to Oaxaca in one easy 5-hour day.
000.0 Miles (000.0 Km) -- This drive begins at the point where Puebla's ring road meets Mex 150 a few miles west of central Puebla. We are driving eastwards. The road is a multi-lane divided limited-access highway.
000.2 Miles (000.3 Km) -- Km 115 marker
002.9 Miles (004.7 Km) -- Welcome to Puebla sign.
003.3 Miles (005.3 Km) -- Exit for Puebla centro and for Tlaxcala to right. Pemex #0825 is at this exit, it is large, has good access, and sells magna, premium, and diesel.
005.2 Miles (008.4 Km) -- A huge glorieta (traffic circle) occupies the center of the toll road, much road construction is underway.
005.3 Miles (008.5 Km) -- Off-ramp for Puebla.
007.3 Miles (011.8 Km) -- Off-ramp for Puebla.
007.6 Miles (012.3 Km) -- Off-ramp for Tehuacan Libre.
012.4 Miles (020.0 Km) -- Pemex #3733 on the right. It is large with good access and sells magna, premium, and diesel. There is no truck parking.
017.1 Miles (027.6 Km) -- Toll booth. Rates: autos - 37 pesos, trucks with 2 or 3 axles - 75 pesos, trucks with 4 or 5 axles - 135 pesos.
025.7 Miles (041.5 Km) -- Exit for Tepeaca and Tehuacan Libre
032.6 Miles (052.6 Km) -- Exit for Jalapa via Mex 140 and Tecamachalco via Mex 150.
041.6 Miles (067.1 Km) -- Exit for Palmarito and Tecamachalco.
048.6 Miles (078.4 Km) -- Pemex #4232 on the right and #3477 on the right. Both are very large with good access and truck parking. They sell magna, premium, and diesel.
056.0 Miles (090.3 Km) -- Exit for Puebla toll road Mex 135D. Take this exit. You will find yourself on an excellent two-lane high-speed road with wide shoulders.
080.0 Miles (129.0 Km) -- Pemex #5206 on the left. This is a medium-sized station with great access and truck parking. They sell magna, premium, and diesel.
080.7 Miles (130.2 Km) -- Toll booth. Rates: autos - 16 pesos, two or three axles - 29 pesos, four or five axles - 36 pesos.
080.7 Miles (130.2 Km) -- Large cactus along the road, they look something like very large organ-pipe cactus.
108.2 Miles (174.5 Km) -- Leaving the state of Puebla and entering the state of Oaxaca. We are driving across am impressive bridge spanning a deep canyon. The road to here has been flat but now we are entering mountains and climbing.
126.5 Miles (204.0 Km) -- Parking area along the roadside. Some stands are selling food.
128.9 Miles (207.9 Km) -- The road leaves the mountains about here and begins to cross a high rolling plateau.
133.1 Miles (214.7 Km) -- Exit for Tepelmemea and Tamazulapan.
144.7 Miles (233.4 Km) -- Toll booth. Rates: auto - 40 pesos, two or three axles - 80 pesos, 4 or 5 axles - 100 pesos. The road once again begins to pass through mountainous country.
150.6 Miles (242.9 Km) -- Exit for Nativitas and Monte Verde.
165.2 Miles (266.5 Km) -- Exit for Huajuapan.
165.4 Miles (266.8 Km) -- Exit for Nochixtlan.
167.1 Miles (269.5 Km) -- Pemex #4189 on the left. It is small, has great access, some truck parking, and sells magna, premium, and diesel.
193.2 Miles (311.6 Km) -- Huitzo exit and toll booth. Rates: autos - 50 pesos, 2 or 3 axles - 105, 4 or 5 axles - 120. The road becomes a 4-lane divided highway.
207.4 Miles (334.5 Km) -- Free road joins us from the left. We are now entering the suburbs of Oaxaca. The road becomes a four-lane divided boulevard.
209.7 Miles (338.2 Km) -- Pemex #4788 on the right, Pemex #4604 on the left. Both have good access with magna, premium, and diesel.
210.5 Miles (339.5 Km) -- Trailer Park Rosa Isabel in the right, it is closed.
212.3 Miles (342.4 Km) -- Pemex #0646 on the left.
212.5 Miles (342.7 Km) -- Large traffic circle. Left takes you toward Tehuantepec through the northern edge of Oaxaca, straight takes you around the southern ring road.
