Leaving England we journeyed north to Scotland. Almost immediately the roads became less crowded and the landscape more spectacular.

North of Oban the roads along the west coast are often single lanes, but they are paved and many wide places are provided for passing traffic coming the other way. Since there isn't much traffic and because you can often see cars coming for miles the roads are no problem at all for RVs.
