Oban

First stop on the tour up Scotland's west coast is the town of Oban. Ferries from here offer access to Mull and the Western Isles. Attractions in the town include a Scotch whisky distillery and McCaig's tower, an unfinished copy of Rome's Colosseum.

A view of the campground south of town. We shared it with a rally of 50 Swift motorcaravans (as they call them in England), there was plenty of room for at least that many more rigs.
