Squares, Circuses, and Markets

London's streets intersect at squares, circuses, and markets. These areas have long been the gathering places for large crowds of folks, both locals and tourists. There's Trafalgar Square with its hordes of pigeons and beautiful fountains, the neon-lighted Picadilly Circus, and Covent Market Gardens with its buskers (street entertainers). These places provide front-seat admission to the most interesting people watching show on earth, and it's all for free.
