For a traveler with plenty of money, there are some other famous places which shouldn't be missed.

A shopping trip to Harrods can be great fun, even without purchasing a thing. The selection of goods is beyond compare and although the store focuses on quality and impeccable service, there are goods which even the average shopper can afford. The outside of the store is especially brilliant after dark with it's facade lit by 11,500 lights.

The first of the world famous Ritz Hotels was opened in London in 1906. This is where to go to hob nob with the rich and famous. We took a look, but weren't ready to spring for afternoon tea in the Palm Court. One look gives fresh meaning to the often-used phrase "ritzy."
