Itinerary 1 - Amsterdam To France's Loire Valley

                   540 Miles

                   6 Overnight Destinations

From Amsterdam we drove 540 miles south to France's Loire Valley to spend a a few days with a fun German couple, Julia and Volker Biebesheimer, whom we met RVing in Mexico last year. We took our time on the drive south, stopping two nights along the way. We spent the first night in the charming old town of Tournai, Belgium, just across the border from France. The following day we skirted to the north of Paris and stopped for the evening in the small community of Bonofil which is south of Chartres and its awesome cathedral. Once in the Loire we camped in four locations, three of which were free camping areas.
