From the campground at Gaasperplas there's excellent transportation in to central Amsterdam. Metro train number 53 to Central Station stops frequently at the nearby station.

We accompanied Monte and Walt and their luggage to Central Station. In this picture Mike totes one of their bags toward the train.

This is inside the bustling Central Station. There are lots of people, shops, banks, restaurants, and trains to almost everywhere.

From here Monte and Walt connected with a second train to Schiphol Airport for the return flight to the states.

Our plans for the day were to visit Braitman and Woudenberg, the dealer through which Monte and Walt originally purchased the Mercedes. As US residents we aren't allowed to register a vehicle in our names in the Netherlands. When Braitman and Woudenberg sells a vehicle to an American, the registration remains in the dealer's name. In a separate document they agree to continue acting as registered owners for us.

Monte gives us directions to Braitman and Woudenberg ,

a final hug, and they are on their way.
