Getting to Amsterdam

We left the states on March 26 at 10:00 am flying to Amsterdam on United Airlines through Washington Dulles. We checked two soft-sided suitcases filled mostly with clothes and two duffle bags of camping equipment. In those bags we brought along a tent, two sleeping bags, and two cots to use in Amsterdam the first week before taking possession of our motorhome and as extra sleeping space later for guests. We were too excited to sleep  on the overnight flight, which meant we arrived in Amsterdam at 7:00 am the following morning feeling more than a little tired.  Pure excitement  provided plenty of adrenaline to get us through the first day with just a quick catnap. It seems as though we'd get used to this, but we don't, and as always we just can hardly wait to get out on the road.
