RV TRAVEL THROUGH EUROPE

Lands End

Lands End is the most western point of mainland Britain. It's a popular camping destinations, with several campgrounds providing marvelous views of this spectacular coastline. A short trail from the campground connects with the coastal trail which then goes miles and miles each direction. From the campground to Land's End is about a 6 mile round trip walk.

In the first picture below Mike, Julia, and Volker admire the view from the coastal trail as we prepare to make our way to Land's End..

The trail winds above the coast and through the small village of Sennen Cove. The RV in the middle picture found a beautiful place for day parking along the water near town.

In the final picture on top, we've made it to Land's End.  There's not much here other than the sign we're standing under and a view which can't be beat. After this stop, it's all north and the sign says "874 miles to John O'Groats" (The almost farthest northern point in Scotland.)

The sun sets over the ocean as we watch from the campground.
