Guanajuato
For RVers Guanajuato is another easy city to visit. Small rigs can stay at at a park right in town, you can walk to the center of the city. Larger rigs camp several miles outside the city but there is convenient bus service.
We love to walk in Guanjuato. Most streets in the center don't have any auto traffic. Small plazas are surrounded by excellent cafés and there always seems to be something going on. Most evenings you can join the estudiantes as they play music and wander through the town.
Then, of course, there's the mummy museum.
The big mountaintop shrine called Cristo Rey makes a great day trip by bus or in your tow car.
