Atlin, British Columbia
Atlin, as always, was spectacular. Here are a few shots.
Pine Creek Falls
Atlin to Whitehorse
The road to Atlin was unchanged other than the fact that the northern part (the Yukon portion) appears to be being prepared for an upgrade. There's a lot of new gravel and fills. Perhaps it's going to be paved.
The Alaska Highway from Jake's Corner to Whitehorse was great. No gravel. That means there's a total of 5.9 miles (9.5 km) of gravel between Dawson Creek and Whitehorse.
We stopped for three days in Whitehorse. Spent the time shopping and sighseeing. Here are a few Whitehorse photos.

The Silver Trail is one of our favorite places to get off the highway and see some history away from the crowds.
